KATHMANDU, May 29: The government is set to introduce a legal provision allowing multinational companies to lease apartments or buildings in Nepal.
Announcing the budget for the Fiscal Year (FY) 2025/26 on Thursday, Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel shared this plan.

“A legal provision will be introduced to allow foreign investors, multinational companies, international organizations and their branches investing in Nepal to lease buildings or apartments for office or residential purposes,” he said.
