KATHMANDU, March 7: The government has fixed the minimum support price of spring paddy (Chaite dhaan) for the current Fiscal Year 2024/25.
The Council of Ministers meeting held on Wednesday evening decided to fix the minimum support price of spring paddy with moisture content up to 18 percent at Rs 2,800.69 per quintal.

For spring paddy with moisture content exceeding 18 percent, the government will adjust the minimum support price by reducing the weight by 1,200 grams per quintal for each additional percent of moisture.
