The government has increased the excise duty on alcohol and tobacco products.

KATHMANDU, May 29: The government has increased the excise duty on alcohol and tobacco products.



While presenting the budget for the upcoming Fiscal Year (FY) 2025/25, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel announced the hike in excise duty on tobacco items.
