Govt allocates Rs 152 billion for physical infrastructure ministry

The government allocated Rs 152 billion for the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport Management (MoPITM).

KATHMANDU, May 29: The government allocated Rs 152 billion for the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport Management (MoPITM).



 In addition, the government has announced effective traffic management to minimize road accidents. Proper management of mass transportation, traffic symbols in cities, standardization of vehicles, third-party insurance to be made effective, smart mass transport system to be promoted, modernizing the transport system inside Kathmandu Valley will be among the major priorities. Feasibility survey of tunnel highway including Tokha-Chhahare will be completed in next fiscal year.
