Gold prices tumble in domestic market

Silver, too, joined the downward slide, dropping by Rs 25 per tola.

KATHMANDU, Aug 15: The gold prices in the domestic market slipped on Friday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), the precious metal fell by Rs 600 per tola, bringing the trading rate down to Rs 196,200 per tola.


Silver, too, joined the downward slide, dropping by Rs 25 per tola. FENEGOSIDA reported that silver is now being traded at Rs 2,315 per tola.
