KATHMANDU, July 23: The price of gold in Nepal surged by Rs 2,100 per tola on Wednesday, marking a notable increase in the domestic market. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold was set at Rs 197,600 per tola.
The price has increased by Rs 4,300 over the past four days. On Tuesday, it was priced at Rs 195,500 per tola, a jump of Rs 1,800 from Monday. The week had started with gold priced at Rs 193,300 per tola.

Meanwhile, silver also climbed by Rs 30 per tola on Wednesday, reaching Rs 2,350. On Tuesday, it had gone up by Rs 35 to Rs 2,320 per tola.
