Gold price hits record high at Rs 186,000 per tola

The price of gold reached Rs 186,000 per tola on Sunday. In the previous trading session on Friday, gold was priced at Rs 185,000 per tola.

KATHMANDU, April 13: The price of gold has surged by Rs 1,000 per tola, reaching an all-time high in the domestic market on Sunday.



According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Associations, the price of gold reached Rs 186,000 per tola on Sunday. In the previous trading session on Friday, gold was priced at Rs 185,000 per tola.

The rise in domestic prices reflects a continued increase in gold prices in the international market.


Meanwhile, the price of silver also increased by Rs 55. It rose from Rs 1,960 per tola to Rs 1,905 today.
