Gold price drops after four days

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, gold is being traded at Rs 195,200 per tolatoday. On Wednesday, gold had increased by Rs 2,100, reaching Rs 197,600 per tola.

KATHMANDU, July 24: After rising for four consecutive days, the price of gold dropped on Thursday. Compared to the previous day, gold fell by Rs 2,400 per tola.



According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, gold is being traded at Rs 195,200 per tolatoday. On Wednesday, gold had increased by Rs 2,100, reaching Rs 197,600 per tola.

The price had risen by Rs 1,800 on Tuesday, pushing it to Rs 195,500 per tola. At the start of the week on Monday, gold was priced at Rs 193,300 per tola.


Silver also became slightly cheaper on Thursday, dropping by Rs 15 per tola. The federation stated that silver is now priced at Rs 2,335 per tola.


On Wednesday, silver had gone up by Rs 20, reaching Rs 2,350 per tola. It had increased by Rs 35 on Tuesday to Rs 2,320 per tola, while on Monday, the price was Rs 2,285 per tola.
