The protesters pledged to remain peaceful, respect public property and trees, avoid arson or vandalism, refrain from intimidation, and present themselves as responsible citizens advocating for civil rights and freedoms.
What began as a viral campaign on social media platforms including TikTok, Reddit, and Facebook has now moved to the streets.
Organized in a short span, the movement is rapidly gaining momentum, drawing attention and solidarity from diverse segments of society.
Along with Kathmandu, road protests by the Gen Z are being staged across the nation.
