KATHMANDU, Aug 22: Former President Bidya Devi Bhandari has inaugurated the office of the Madan Bhandari's 75th Birth Anniversary Main Management Committee in Kathmandu on Thursday.
During the inaugural program, she said she wants to work as a cadre of the CPN UML. Bhandari asserted that she had worked fairly and in a dignified manner while being the Head of the State.

The office was established as per the decision to make every person aware on values of people's multiparty democracy (PMPD) forwarded by the late Madan Bhandari.
On the occasion, senior Vice Chairman of the UML, Ishwor Pokharel, said the office was established to spread the thoughts and contribution of iconic leader Madan Bhandari across the country. The PMPD is the guideline to face adversity and challenges, he argued.
Foundation's Chairperson Usha Kiran Bhandari informed that numerous programmes would be held for 2082 and 2083 BS marking the 75th birth anniversary of Madan Bhandari.
