KATHMANDU, July 22: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today (Tuesday). According to the central bank, the US dollar has increased. The buying rate of one US dollar is Rs 137.78, while the selling rate is Rs 138.38 today. In contrast, the buying rate of one US dollar was 137.54, and the selling rate stood at 138.14 on Monday.
The buying rate of one euro has been fixed at Rs 160.67 and the selling rate at Rs 161.37. Similarly, one UK pound sterling is being bought at Rs 185.53 and sold at Rs 186.34. The buying rate of one Swiss Franc is Rs 172.34, and the selling rate is Rs 173.09.
One Australian dollar is being bought at Rs 89.80 and sold at Rs 90.19. The buying rate of one Canadian dollar is Rs 100.5,1 and the selling rate is Rs 100.95. Likewise, one Singapore dollar is being bought at Rs 107.48 and sold at Rs 107.94.
Forex Update: US dollar appreciates

The buying rate of 10 Japanese Yen is Rs 9.33, and the selling rate is Rs 9.37. One Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs 19.20 and sold at Rs 19.28. One Saudi Arabian riyal is being bought at Rs 36.73 and sold at Rs 36.89. The buying rate of one Qatari riyal is Rs 37.80, and the selling rate is Rs 37.96.
As per the central bank, one Thai baht is being bought at Rs 4.26 and sold at Rs 4.28. One UAE dirham is being bought at Rs 37.51 and sold at Rs 37.68. The buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit is Rs 32.53, and the selling rate is Rs 32.67. The buying rate of 100 South Korean won is Rs 9.94, and the selling rate is Rs 9.99.
One Swedish kronor is being bought at Rs 14.33 and sold at Rs 14.39, while one Danish kroner is being bought at Rs 21.52 and sold at Rs 21.62.
The NRB has also fixed the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 17.55 and the selling rate at Rs 17.63. The buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar is Rs 451.07, and the selling rate is Rs 453.04.
Likewise, one Bahraini dinar is being bought at Rs 365.46 and sold at Rs 367.05, and one Omani riyal is being bought at Rs 357.86 and sold at Rs 359.42.
The buying rate of 100 Indian Rupees has been set at Rs 160 and the selling rate at Rs 160.15.
The central bank has stated that these rates can be revised at any time as needed. The rates set by commercial banks may vary, and updated rates are available on the NRB’s website.
