KATHMANDU, July 21: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) arrested Purna Shankar Yadav, Senior Forest Officer at the Division Forest Office in Dhangadhi, Kailali, on Monday evening with Rs 731,000 in bribe money.

The team of CIAA's Kanchanpur office arrested Yadav based on information that he had demanded a bribe from a service seeker for issuing a release order and verifying timber stock from the Gwasi Community Forest in Chure Rural Municipality-6.
CIAA spokesperson Rajendra Kumar Poudel said further investigation is underway.
