MADRID, July 3: President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), Chandra Prasad Dhakal, has urged Spanish entrepreneurs and investors to invest in Nepal, assuring them that a business-friendly environment has been established in the country.
Speaking at a program organized by the Nepali Embassy in Madrid on Wednesday, President Dhakal invited Spanish investors to explore opportunities in tourism, energy, agriculture, information technology, and infrastructure sectors, according to the FNCCI.

Addressing the event attended by members of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce, business leaders, representatives of the Nepali community, and diplomats, Dhakal emphasized that tourism—Nepal’s economic backbone—offers high returns on investment.
Highlighting Nepal’s globally renowned destinations such as Mount Everest and Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha, he stressed that investment in quality services and infrastructure could significantly boost tourist inflow from around the world.
