Five injured in Ramechhap jeep accident

The vehicle, registration number Bagmati Province 01-029 Cha 6360, was traveling from Pharpu of Gokulganga Rural Municipality–6 toward Manthali when the accident occurred on Thursday afternoon.

KATHMANDU, Sept 11: A Bolero jeep met with an accident at Chhatiune Khola in Likhu Tamakoshi Rural Municipality–6, Ramechhap, leaving five people injured. 



The vehicle, registration number Bagmati Province 01-029 Cha 6360, was traveling from Pharpu of Gokulganga Rural Municipality–6 toward Manthali when the accident occurred on Thursday afternoon.

According to Sub-Inspector Subas Chandra Mandal, Chief of the District Traffic Police Office in Ramechhap, those injured include 22-year-old driver Norbu Tamang from Namadi, Gokulganga–5; 37-year-old Sange Tamang from the same ward; 40-year-old Singh Bahadur Tamang from Pharpu–6; 35-year-old Rabi Budhathoki from Gelu, Manthali–12; and 46-year-old Madhu Bishwakarma from Chhaudeki, Tamakoshi Rural Municipality–3, Dolakha.


All the injured were rescued and admitted to Tamakoshi Hospital in Manthali. The police have reported that their condition is stable.
