KATHMANDU, May 20: Police have arrested five individuals in connection with the murder of a young man in Nayapati of Gokarneshwor Municipality-2 in Kathmandu.
The arrested individuals has been identified as Prabin Tamang,29, from Sunapati Rural Municipality-3, Ramachhap, Samir Waiba Tamang,23, and Abhishek Waiba Tamang,26, from Bagmati Rural Municipality-3, Sarlahi, Dipendra Bhujel,29, from Indrawati Rural Municipality-6, Sindhupalchok, and Anurag Tamang,28, from Chauri Deurali Rural Municipality-7, Kavre.
Police nab two for alleged involvement in Gauchan's murder
They were arrested by a police team from the Boudha Police Station. The group is accused of murdering Balindra Prakash Rai,37, on the night of May 13 around 9 pm.
While staying at a grocery store in Nayapati, the group attacked him. He was seriously injured in the attack and later died during treatment, according to the Kathmandu Police Range.
The police have initiated an investigation on the arrested individuals on charge of murder.
