PM Oli mentioned that the rapid assessment of preventable blindness in Nepal, completed in 2022, has guided the country’s national priorities. He also stated that Nepal is committed to increasing cataract surgery coverage from 35.45 percent to 75 percent by 2030 as part of the health sector's strategic plan.
