KATHMANDU, May 29: The Embassy of Pakistan in Kathmandu on Thursday organised the 12th Annual Ambassador of Pakistan Essay Writing Competition and the 8th Annual Ambassador of Pakistan Speech Competition, drawing participation from bright students across Nepal.
Dr. Vijay Kumar Datta, Founding Chief Commissioner of the Madheshi Commission of Nepal, graced the occasion as Chief Guest. In his remarks, Dr. Datta lauded Pakistan's continued support to Nepal in the areas of education, health, and community development. He expressed hope that such efforts would strengthen bonds between the youths of both countries and nurture their growth as responsible global citizens.

Addressing the participants in his concluding remarks, Ambassador of Pakistan to Nepal Abrar H Hashmi commended the students for their critical thinking and thoughtful engagement with contemporary issues. He emphasised that fostering such intellectual exercises among the youth can play a vital role in bridging understanding between the two nations.
Both the essay and speech competitions have become popular fixtures among Nepalese youth, being organised regularly for the past 12 and 8 years respectively. They continue to serve as platforms for promoting dialogue, critical thinking and cultural understanding between the people of Nepal and Pakistan.
