With this hike, the price of large-sized eggs has reached Rs 525 per crate, up from Rs 495 set on July 4. Similarly, the price of medium-sized eggs has been raised to Rs 495 per crate from the previous Rs 465, according to the association's General Secretary Madan Pokharel.
Egg price increased, still short of production cost
