LALITPUR, Sept 8: Dr Bijaya Subba was re-elected the chair of the Election Commission of the ruling CPN (UML).
UML's publicity department chief, Rajendra Gautam, shared that the ongoing Second Statute Congress of the UML unanimously elected Dr Subba to the post. Prior to this, Dr Subba was in the same post.

Likewise, Sanuraja Pokhrel was elected the vice-chair of the commission while Kunsang Lama was appointed to the post of the commission's secretary.
The party's election commission is responsible to convene the elections of the UML's national congress, other committees and sister organizations. The Second Statute Congress of the UML is taking place in Godawari, Lalitpur.
