KATHMANDU, Aug 30: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development Prakash Man Singh has been designated as Acting Prime Minister.

Singh will serve as Acting Prime Minister in absence of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who left for China earlier today. Singh has been appointed as Acting Prime Minister on the recommendation of Prime Minister Oli, according to a notice issued by the Office of the President.
