MORANG, Nov 20: A doctor has died while another was injured after being hit by a truck near Nepal Oil Corporation in Biratnagar Metropolitan City on Koshi Highway. The deceased has been identified as Nikhil Panjiar, 27, of Janakpur-3, Dhanusha while Ram Pratap Shah, 28, of Janakpur-3 was seriously injured in the accident.

According to Chief of Morang Traffic Police Inspector Chandra Bahadur Khadka, the accident took place when a mini truck (Ko 1 Kha 3244) collided with a motorcycle (Pra-2-02-003 Pa 2189) at Biratnagar-4 on Thursday night.
Panjiar was a medical officer working in Madhes Institute of Health Sciences in Janakpur.
