Docs successful in stopping bleeding from Paras's stomach

KATHMANDU, Feb 24: The doctors of Samitivej Sukhumvit Hospital in Thailand involved in treatment of ailing ex crown prince Paras Shah were successful in stopping the bleeding from the stomach, according to the hospital.



Issuing a medical update today, the Bangkok-based Samitivej Sukhumvit Hospital said, "The doctors were successful in stopping the bleeding from the stomach. The medicines needed to maintain the blood pressure have also been reduced today."[break]



Shah is undergoing treatment at the hospital since 19 February after suffering a heart attack.



The hospital also said. "His medical condition remains critical but is stable."
