KATHMANDU, July 15 : The iconic Dharahara tower in Kathmandu will now remain open from 8 am to 8 pm daily, starting July 17 (Shrawan 1), according to the Ministry of Urban Development.
Ministry Spokesperson Narayan Mainali said that the landmark will also be open to visitors on public holidays. “Dharahara will now operate in two shifts, and visitors can climb it even on public holidays,” said Mainali.

Currently, the tower operates from 10 am to 4 pm and remains closed on public holidays. It also closes every Wednesday in lieu of Saturday's weekly holiday.
