KATHMANDU, Dec 12: Nepali Congress President and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has met senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel. Arriving at Poudel's residence in Bohoratar on Saturday night, Deuba said, "The nation needs you" and urged him not to think of leaving politics.
Earlier on Saturday, Poudel issued a statement saying that he would stay away from the internal competition within the party from the 14th general convention. Poudel had told Deuba that he was out of the convention as he saw unhealthy competition in the convention which was against his principles and ideals.
