Death toll in Gen Z protests reaches 34

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 331 people are undergoing treatment in various hospitals in the country, while 949 have been discharged after treatment.

KATHMANDU, Sept 11: A total of 34 people died in the course of the Gen Z protests that  started on Monday.   



According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 331 people are undergoing treatment in various hospitals in the country, while 949 have been discharged after treatment.

Eight people died in the National Trauma Center and six died in Civil Hospital, three each in Everest Hospital and Frontline Hospital, two each in KMC Hospital and Bayodha Hospital and one in Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Kathmandu Valley. 


Similarly, five died in Bheri Hospital, two died in BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan and one each in BNC Hospital and Birta City Hospital.
