BIRGUNJ, April 18: The District Administration Office (DAO), Parsa lifted the prohibitory order imposed in Birgunj city from 7 AM today.
A meeting of the district security committee presided over by its coordinator and Chief District Officer Ganesh Aryal took the decision to revoke the order effective for four days as the peace and security situation in the district improved significantly

Superintendent of Police in Parsa, Gautam Mishra, said that the Birgunj city has restored normalcy.
Earlier, the DAO Parsa was forced to clamp a curfew owing to the tense situation that erupted after a clash between two communities over the procession carried out on the Hanuman Jayanti.
