GANDAKI, Sept 12: Daily life is gradually getting normal in Pokhara with the Gen Z protests calming down.
There has been an increase in vehicular movement on the roads since this morning. The market has also experienced a rise in shopper mobility.
Chief District Officer of Kaski Rudradevi Sharma informed that travel has been relaxed in the morning hours. "A decision will be taken whether to impose stricter restrictions or to ease based on the situation until noon," she said.

CDO Sharma added, "Currently, security arrangements have been tightened in the district. However, travel has been eased in the morning and evening for essential works.”
Yet, curfew has been clamped within the Pokhara Metropolitan area at night.
There were incidents of arson and vandalism in most government buildings in Pokhara during the protests by the youth on September 8 and 9.
Massive damage was caused to dozens of government and private buildings, including the Gandaki Provincial Assembly building, provincial government ministries, district courts, district administration offices, Pokhara Metropolitan City, and ward offices.
