KATHMANDU, Aug 29: The Kathmandu District Court has ordered the release of Dr Arnico Pandey, a central member of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), on bail of Rs 20,000. The order was issued on Friday by Judge Dhruba Raj Karki.
Pandey had been accused by a woman of sending emails and WhatsApp messages containing words that allegedly defamed her character. Based on the complaint, the Cyber Bureau had sought approval for his arrest on August 25.

Pandey, however, appeared at the Cyber Bureau himself on Wednesday before the court issued the bail order.
