Civil Hospital suspends OPD services

Authorities said the hospital is fully committed to providing timely medical care to the injured protesters.

KATHMANDU, Sept 9: Civil Hospital has suspended all outpatient department (OPD) services today (Tuesday).



The closure comes as the hospital focuses on treating individuals injured during Monday’s Gen-Z protest. Authorities said the hospital is fully committed to providing timely medical care to the injured protesters.

The hospital treated 141 people injured in the Gen Z protest, while referring 42 to other hospitals for further treatment. Three individuals died while receiving treatment at the hospital.
