KATHMANDU, April 30: The merger announcement between the Nagarik Unmukti Party (NUP) and the Janamat Party has been postponed.

The program was called off after NUP Patron Resham Chaudhary was arrested from the event venue on Wednesday. Earlier, participants were unable to enter the venue due to shortcomings in the booking process of the hall at the Nepal Academy in Kamaladi, Kathmandu.
