Body of Karnali's Physical Ministry driver found in Bheri River

SURKHET, July 5: The body of a driver working for the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development in Karnali Province, who had been missing since June 20, has been found in the Bheri River.



Him Bahadur Bista, 29, who served as a driver at the ministry's office in Surkhet, was found dead on Friday on the banks of the Bheri River. He had been out of contact since June 20.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Mohan Jung Budhathapa of the District Police Office, Bista, a resident of Chamunda Bindrasaini Municipality–2 in Dailekh, had been out of contact since the morning of June 20, after informing his office that he was unwell.


Earlier, on June 23, the government motorcycle used by Bista was found abandoned near the Bheri Bridge in Bheriganga Municipality.


During the search operation, his body was discovered today on the banks of the Bheri River at Sajghat in Barahatal Rural Municipality–4, according to DSP Budhathapa.
