BAITADI, Dec 9: A body of a youth suspected to have been mauled by a wild animal was found at Talloswarad locality of the district on Thursday night.
The mutilated body of the youth estimated to be of around 25 years in age was found at Melauli – 8, Inspector, Surendra Bam, of District Police Office, Baitadi told the National News Agency (RSS).
"The right portion of the body has been eaten by a wild animal," he said, adding "It seems his hip, head and legs were eaten by the animal."
The decomposing body was found by a local woman who entered the area to forage for grass. The police suspect that the body may have been there for a week. A total of 22 individuals have died in leopard attack in Talloswarad locality till date. RSS
