Army personnel take control of roads around federal parliament building amid Zen Z protests

The move comes after Gen Z protesters entered the parliament premises earlier today. Authorities said the army personnel now control the entire street area around the complex.

KATHMANDU, Sept 8: Nepali Army (NA) personnel have taken control of the roads surrounding the parliament complex in New Baneshwor, Kathmandu.



The move comes after Gen Z protesters entered the parliament premises earlier today. Authorities said the army personnel now control the entire street area around the complex.

Currently, protesters remain between Baneshwor and Bijulibazar, and have not yet dispersed despite curfew order, according to SSP Shekhar Khanal of the Kathmandu Valley Police Office, Ranipokhari.
