KATHMANDU, Feb 18: The All Nepal National Independent Students Union (ANNISU-R), a student wing affiliated to CPN (Maoist Center), has staged demonstration against the death of Prakriti Lamsal, a Nepali student studying at the Kaligana Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) in Odisha, India.

The ANNISU-R held the demonstration at Maitighar Mandala on Tuesday. They have drawn attention of the government to the incident and called for an impartial investigation and action against the culprits.
Similarly, Nepali Congress (NC)-affiliated Nepal Students Union (NSU) of Tri Chandra Campus has also staged demonstrations demanding security of other Nepali students studying there.
