TANAHUN, Sept 24: Landslides near the Tuinkhola along the Muglin-Narayangadh road section have blocked two-way traffic for the past few days. As a result, thousands of travelers heading home for the Dashain festival remain stranded.
However, some alternatives to the Muglin-Narayangadh road are available and being used. The route to Dedgaun via Kharenitar in Tanahun is one of the few options available. The Gandaki Provincial Government has been constructing this road as a pride project to connect Mustang to the Tarai.
