KATHMANDU, Sep 9: All the lawmakers of the Rastriya Swotantra Party (RSP) have resigned from their post of lawmakers.
The RSP in a notice said that they do not hold moral ground to stay as members of the House of Representatives (HoR) following the brutal killing of Gen Z protesters. They also said that the purpose of the government has ended.
RSP quits government, ministers resign en masse
While putting forth the six-point demand, they have asked for the immediate resignation of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and formation of a citizens-led government comprising all parties. They have also demanded the arrest of the Prime Minister, Home Minister, Information and Technology Minister, CDO of Kathmandu and initiate legal action against them.
The RSP lawmakers have also called for a constitutional amendment and the formation of a powerful commission to investigate graft cases in the country
