AFP divers recover body of missing boy from Kaligandaki River

Armed Police Force (APF) divers recovered the body of a missing boy in the Kaligandaki River in Raghuganga Rural Municipality-3, Myagdi district.

KATHMANDU, May 19: Armed Police Force (APF) divers recovered the body of a missing boy in the Kaligandaki River in Raghuganga Rural Municipality-3, Myagdi district.



The 15-year-old Niraj Malla, a local resident, went missing after drowning while swimming in the river on May 17.

A team from Armed Police Force Nepal's No. 24 Kalika Battalion, Kaski, led by an Armed Police Inspector, recovered his body from about 15 feet deep at around 12:30 pm today.


For the search operation, No. 24 Kalika Battalion, Kaski, deployed a 19-member team on Monday morning, including 4 divers and 5 personnel trained in disaster management.
