GULMI, June 19: Forty-eight more cases of COVID-19 were reported in Gulmi on Friday.
The Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests conducted at the Provincial Public Health Laboratory, Bhairahawa confirmed 48 fresh cases of COVID-19.

According to Pashupati Acharya, information officer of the District Health Office, 20 individuals were from Dhurkot Rural Municipality, 14 from Gulmi Durbar, 12 from Issma, and two from Malika Rural Municipality tested positive for the virus.
With 48 new cases on Friday, Gulmi now has 154 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
All infected people are India returnees according to the District Health Office, Gulmi.
