KATHMANDU, June 30: Tremors of an earthquake with its epicenter in Kotdanda of Mugu were felt across the region.
The National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre in Lainchaur informed that the tremors of the earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale were felt near Kotdanda at 8:39 am on Monday.

Earlier on June 29, an earthquake of 4.8- magnitude had occurred with its epicenter in Jima of Mugu.
Nepal has been experiencing several earthquakes and aftershocks with varying magnitudes in recent years. Nepal is considered an earthquake prone zone as it lies in the Himalayan region.
