KATHMANDU, Aug 10: Rabin Sayami, senior cartoonist affiliated with Nepal Republic Media, has been honoured for his contributions to the field.
Sayami was among the senior cartoonists recognised by the Nepal Cartoonists Club in a programme organised in Kathmandu on Monday. Chancellor of the Nepal Academy of Fine Arts, Naradmani Hamchali, presented the honours.

Along with Sayami, this year’s awardees included Ashokman Singh, Jivan Rajopadhyaya, Rajesh KC, and Abin Shrestha.
The Nepal Cartoonists Club has been conferring the ‘Baratha Memorial Honour’—established in memory of cartoonist Balaram Thapa—on senior cartoonists for the past decade. Seven individuals have been honoured in previous years, with five more receiving the recognition this year.
