President Gyawali expressed grief over the deaths of youths shot during the protests and wished for the speedy recovery of both injured demonstrators and security personnel. She praised President Ramchandra Paudel’s “guardian role” in safeguarding the constitution and steering the nation toward political resolution.
Highlighting support for the formation of an interim government led by former Chief Justice Sushila Karki, Gyawali said women entrepreneurs are encouraged by the consensus. She extended best wishes for Karki’s potential tenure, noting that Nepal is on the verge of having its first female prime minister.
FWEAN also called on political parties and their leaders to continue working together, urging immediate steps—within the framework of the constitution—to stabilize the nation and uplift the morale of businesses and entrepreneurs amid the ongoing leadership vacuum.
