The government has removed the position of Revenue Secretary under the Ministry of Finance (MoF), deciding to maintain only the Finance Secretary at the ministry.

A total of 138,296 passengers departed between September 22 and 24.

Based on recommendations from various government offices, one company has been barred from participating in public procurement for one and a half years, while the remaining 11 face a one-year ban.

The DoI in a press statement on Thursday informed all concerned that the services provided by the Tourist Visa Section and the agency branch of the DoI will remain open from 11 AM to 1 PM on all days except on the day of Bijaya Dashami, which falls on October 2.

"All committees should be dissolved and fresh leadership should be elected through a special convention in December."
