CHITWAN, Aug 30: Police have arrested a youth on the charge of murdering his own mother in Chitwan district. Police arrested Ashish Darai of Mangalpur, Bharatpur Metropolitan City for killing his 40-year-old mother Sabita Darai.
According to police, Ashish,19, had beaten his mother black and blue by tying up her legs and arms. Seriously injured Sabita passed away while undergoing treatment.
However, the cause of death is yet to be ascertained, said police.

Ashih has been taken into custody. The incident took place at 10 am today.
Similarly, an on-duty police constable has been attacked with a khukuri in Narayangadh.
According to police, Dilip Sunar, 30, of Bharatpur-2 attacked constable Tara Prasad Pokharel with a sharp weapon while he was on his duty.
Pokharel has received a dip cut to his head.
