Two Chinese nationals arrested with 2kg gold and Rs 2.4 million in cash

KATHMANDU, July 22: Two Chinese nationals have been arrested from Thamel with two kilograms of gold and Rs 2.4 million in cash.



They were apprehended from a hotel in Jyatha, Thamel, based on a special tip-off, according to SSP Ramesh Basnet, chief of the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Chun Ling and Same Chung. Authorities have launched further investigations into the case.
