KATHMANDU, Sept 11: Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) has suspended its ‘VIP’ services.
The airport office has posted a notice informing travelers about the suspension.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has instructed all passengers to use regular routes for departures and arrivals.
Due to the challenging circumstances, regular passengers stranded in Kathmandu and other cities are being prioritized, leading to the closure of the VIP lounge, a CAAN source said.
Regular flights and landings are operating from the airport today.
