KATHMANDU, July 7: Lawmakers from Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) and Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) disrupted today’s House of Representatives meeting, continuing their protest over the visit visa controversy.

Both parties have been demanding the resignation of Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak, expressing dissatisfaction with the government's handling of the issue. RSP has also rejected the investigation committee formed by the government.

RSP lawmakers stood in front of the rostrum to obstruct proceedings before walking out of the session alongside RPP members.

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is also scheduled to address the House in today’s meeting.
