KATHMANDU, June 27: Manoj Bhetwal, the contractor involved in the construction of the Kathmandu View Tower at the Old Bus Park, has been arrested.
While reports suggest he was detained from Anamnagar on Friday, Kathmandu District Police Spokesperson Apil Raj Bohora told Republica that he had yet to receive official information and was still verifying the arrest.
Bhetwal, the managing director of Innovative Concept Pvt. Ltd., currently faces a banking offense complaint amounting to Rs 100 million, filed at the Kathmandu District Police Range.
