DHANUSHA, Sept 13: The Janamat Party has called back the Chief Minister and the Ministers from the Madhes Province government.
The party’s parliamentary leader Mahesh Prasad Yadav, in a press statement today, said that the party has called back the Chief Minister and the ministers from the provincial government.
Those called back are the Chief Minister Satish Kumar Singh, the Minister for Forests and Environment Sanjaya Yadav and the Minister for Industry, Commerce and Tourism Basanta Kushwaha.
The Janamat Party’s parliamentary leader, Yadav, said that the party has sent a letter to the Office of the Province Chief informing him about the party’s leaving the government.
Chief Minister Singh had announced his resignation on Facebook amidst the Gen Z movement on September 8 and 9, but he had not submitted a written resignation at the office of the provincial chief.
Today, some media had criticized Chief Minister Singh saying he has taken a stand not to resign despite announcing his resignation through Facebook. In this government led by the Janamat Party, the CPN (UML), Nepali Congress, and the Democratic Socialist Party (LSP) of Nepal are coalition partners.
