KATHMANDU, Sept 12: Gen Z has prepared for talks with President Ram Chandra Paudel at Sheetal Niwas.
Earlier, a meeting scheduled by President Paudel with former Chief Justice Sushila Karki was put on hold as he opted to engage directly with the Gen Z group.
Led by Sudan Gurung, Gen Z representatives arrived at the President’s residence on Friday. A day earlier, the movement had rejected negotiations through the Chief of Army Staff, citing alleged infiltration of royalist elements into their protest and instead proposed direct talks with the President.
The group also warned that it would launch a hunger strike if its demands were not met.
