KATHMANDU, Sept 22: Newly-appointed ministers were sworn in at a special ceremony held at the Office of the President at Sheetal Niwas. President Ramchandra Paudel administered them the  oath of office and secrecy.

The ministers taking their oath include former Justice Anil Kumar Sinha, National Innovation Center founder Mahabir Pun, journalist Jagdish Kharel and expert Madan Pariyar.

They were appointed on the recommendation of Prime Minister Sushila Karki, who, along with three other ministers, had taken oath earlier. The interim government under Karki was formed after the Gen-Z protests on September 8 and 9 that ousted Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli from power.
